How does it work?

A short guide to a carefree celebration.

Create a free account with your name, your email address and a password, or sign in with Google or Facebook. Already have an account on ChristmasList.app or Sinterklaaslijst.be? You can use it to sign in here too.

Click New list and choose who the list is for: yourself or someone else, such as your child or partner. For a new person we create a profile that you manage; that person doesn't need their own email address or password.

Then choose the occasion: a birthday, a spring celebration, a communion, Saint Nicholas, Christmas or something else, such as a wedding or a new baby.

You can make several lists for the same person and occasion, for example one list for mum's side of the family and another for dad's.

Add gifts with a name, a price, a photo and a link to the shop. You can also search our partner shops directly: then everything is filled in automatically.

Ideas that don't belong on any list yet are kept in My unsorted gift ideas. From there you add them to a list later.

Each list has its own page with a personal text and up to five photos. Share the link via WhatsApp or email, or let us email an invitation.

In the list settings you choose whether the page is visible to anyone with the link, or only to people who log in. You can also renew the link: the old link will then stop working.

Whoever buys a gift clicks I'll buy this. That requires a free account, so you can later see what you reserved and cancel a reservation if needed.

As the owner, you choose whether you can see what has been reserved. For children's lists that is handy: you know what has already been bought. For your own list, better leave it off, so it stays a surprise.

Don't need reserving? Turn it off in the list settings.

After the date of the celebration you can close the list. You tick what you received; what you didn't get, you move to My unsorted gift ideas or to another list, for example for Christmas.
